Non- Motivated Functions of Art - Art for Psychological and healing purposes:
Art is also used by art therapists, psychotherapists and clinical psychologists as art therapy. The end product is not the principal goal, but rather the goal is a process of healing through the creative act. In the sense that art is a framework for understand ones place within the larger context of life, most art functions as a coping skill and therefore has a theraputic aspect.
